CONNECTICUT ART TRAIL LAUNCHES ART PASS

… 15 museums for $25

March 16, 2009, CT … On May 1, 2009, the state-wide Connecticut Art Trail will launch an Art Pass valid for admission to all fifteen world-class museums and historic sites on the Trail. For just $25/person, a visitor can experience all fifteen properties for a two-week period determined by the purchaser. Children twelve and under are free when accompanied by an adult. The Art Pass will only be available for purchase on arttrail.org.

Hill-Stead Museum, Poetry GardenThe Art Pass makes it easy to visit more than one museum, eliminates waiting in line to buy a ticket, and offers great savings … a $75 value for only $25*! People simply go to arttrail.org, click on Art Pass, fill in the two week time period for when they would like to use the pass, select the number of passes they are purchasing, pay via credit card, and print a voucher on their home computer printer. It couldn't be easier!

To plan a convenient getaway, museums are grouped by geographic region on arttrail.org, and the mileage between museums is displayed. The website also offers recommended lodging, dining and area attractions near each museum, special Lodging Packages and Trail Getaway itineraries for each region. Now more than ever, it's easy to make the Connecticut Art Trail the centerpiece of your next travel experience.

*Art Pass includes five member museums that are free to the public.
